Disasters averted. Members studying shipping movements off Devon have been horrified to watch large tankers heading close by the south coast straight towards Brixham and only changing direction at the last minute (about a mile off shore). Member Brian Stephens (who used to captain very big boats) advised that all these tankers were doing was dropping off a Pilot!
