The Club organises a series of social events during the summer months. There are also regular social get togethers, ALWAYS on the third Wednesday of each month. From Autumn to Spring (October-April) a programme of informal get-togethers and talks is arranged. These are ALWAYS held on the third Wednesday of each month starting promptly at 7.30pm. NB: unless the penny hasn't dropped, the third Wednesday of every month is ALWAYS Boat Club Night!

The Club is well supported by local businesses (and some from further a field) that provide us with advertising revenue and, in most cases, discounts on boating gear. Members are requested to use these businesses whenever possible and show their membership cards when asking for discount.
